Shaves head for Kacey
About Kacey:
Kacey Rose Mitchell is a lively and beautiful little girl. Only 17 months old, she has been diagnosed with a rare form of Leukemia for her age, known as AML. Her parents, Kristina and Glen, noticed abnormal bruises over her tiny body and brought her to the pediatrician who sent her for blood work. During this time Kristina and Glen were awaiting the birth of their son, Max. Less than a week after Max’s arrival, they received the devastating news of Kacey’s diagnosis. She was immediately rushed to the hospital to begin treatment. Kristina and Glen have been in the hospital by their little girl’s side every moment of every day. Consumed by anxiety, worrying, waiting and wondering, they take turns going home only to see Max. Kacey seems to be responding to the chemotherapy but it has taken a toll on her tiny body.
